Former Arsenal forward Jack Lambert scored just five goals in 35 games for Fulham between October 1934 and July 1935 having been signed to boost the Whites’ strikeforce in the Second Division. Lambert finished his playing career at non-league Margate and later became manager of the club before tragically dying in a car accident aged only 38.
