Confusion reigns this morning over the status of Fulham’s interest in Olympique Lyonnais attacking midfielder Rayan Cherki.
The Sun’s football correspondent Alan Nixon broke a story yesterday suggesting that the Whites had tabled a massive £35m bid to try and bring the French under-21 international to the Premier League – and sources in France suggest that Fulham scouts have watched Cherki extensively over the past eighteen months. The Daily Mail carried an update overnight claiming that the clubs were locked in discussions about a deadline day transfer, but Nizaar Kinsella of the Evening Standard reports today that there are talks taking place at the moment.
confusion does not reign. The club have made NO announcement regarding any transfer other than Marco saying it will be a quiet period. This story is all conjecture along with other stories until a statement is made by the club.
I don’t think TK knows what he is doing and we probably won’t get any player worth getting he has had a month to get players in and as usual he wait’s till the last day and then panic’s, while he is in charge of the transfer business we are going nowhere.
