Welsh international winger Peter O’Sullivan solved a problem position on the left flank for Malcolm Macdonald and helped Fulham win promotion from the Third Division in 1982/83 season. The former Manchester United trainee joined on a free transfer from Brighton and Hove Albion and formed an excellent understanding with left back Les Strong almost immediately becoming a regular in Macdonald’s side. He left for Hong Kong side Seiko Sports Association in January 1983 before returning to the UK and racking up more than 500 league appearances by the end of his playing career.
