Bristol City and Queens Park Rangers are lining up loan moves for Rodrigo Muniz in January should Fulham let the striker leave Craven Cottage, according to Teamtalk.
Marco Silva will make a decision on the former Flamengo forward’s future next month but Muniz will likely only leave SW6 if the Whites manage to sign a first-choice centre forward to finally replace Aleskandar Mitrovic. The 22 year-old has scored six goals in 37 games since arriving from Brazil as one of Silva’s first signings after being appointed to succeed Scott Parker and struggled on loan at Middlesbrough last season after falling out of favour with new boss Michael Carrick.
Muniz has been heavily linked with a return to his homeland and, although Atletico Mineiro and Gremio are keen on signing the striker, they have yet to be able to meet Fulham’s valuation to secure a permanent deal. A second loan into the Championship might be an option if Muniz, who has managed one goal – against Ipswich in the League Cup – in eight appearances this season, drops further down the Fulham pecking order should Silva supplement his striking resources in January.
