Local lad John Hamsher came through Fulham’s youth set-up to make three first team appearances towards the end of the 1995-96 season once Micky Adams had guided the Whites to Third Division safety. He was released in the summer of 1997 and went on to play for Rushden and Diamonds, Dagenham and Redbridge and Stevenage Borough.
