Fulham have confirmed the capture of Spanish international winger Adama Traoré on a free transfer.
The 27 year-old, who was released by Wolves at the end of last season, has signed an initial two-year contract at Craven Cottage. Fulham have an option to extend the deal by a further twelve months.
Traore told FFCTV tonight:
“It’s a nice opportunity for me. Another chapter. I like the Club, I also have information from RaĂºl [JimenĂ©z], who seems to love the club. I’m excited and hungry to give 100 per cent here.”
Very good signing. No transfer fee involved and suits our play with his speed and physicality. Many give a lot of fkack to Tony Khan, probably because of who he is, but in my opinion, under his guidance we have managed to make a lot of good captures for very little money.

A useful addition to our squad. Will be good as an impact substitute. On a free transfer sio a no brainer,
Now lets get on with signing other players and splash the cash if required .
Another Ivan Cavaleiro, if he was any good, why would Wolves release him at 27.
Well, a year ago everyone was saying Ream wasn’t up to playing in the Premiership, the experts thought signing Willian was mad, Robinson and others weren’t good enough etc etc.
For goodness sake let’s give the guy a chance instead of knocking him before he’s even kicked a ball. Who knows what Marco can do with him, and if he doesn’t fit the game plan as well as hoped he’s cost the club nothing.
I agree with William – give the guy a chance. A lot of players have found it a boost to join us. COYW
His world fifa ranking is similar to many of our current players. Marco will bring him up to speed.
Martin, he was out of contract at Wolves, they didn’t release him. Has been poorly coached in previous seasons. With that amount of pace and power he will be effective, Marco will make it happen.
As he is costing us nothing apart from his salary it must be considered a good deal. We are desperately short of numbers . He has premier experience and pace do at worst he will be an useful addition on the substitutes bench.
I am a huge fan of Adama ever since I first saw him playing for Villa. At his best, he is simply unplayable. He does need to calm down when it comes to shooting on goal, but that is coaching and practice. I think that very rapidly he will be the fixture and Harry Wilson will be battling for game time. Another great signing COYW!
