Fulham midfielder Adrion Pajaziti’s loan spell at FK Haugesund has been terminated early because he missed life in London, according to officials at the Norwegian club.
The Albanian under-21 international, who made his senior debut for the Whites in 2021, struggled to settle in the coastal Norwegian town and became homesick. Haugesund’s sporting director Eirik Opedal told the Norwegian press that the mutual decision was made for non-footballing reasons.
The 20 year-old midfielder made thirteen appearances and scored two goals for Haugesund, who currently sit eleventh in the Eliteserien. He is expected to form part of Hayden Mullins’ under-21 squad for the start of the PL2 campaign with the young Whites travelling to Wolverhampton Wanderers for their opening game next Friday.
Another bright light and one to watch for the future
At least he won’t be off to Saudi Arabia.
