Fulham have had their bid for Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi rejected, according to a Sky Sports News report this evening.
The SW6 neighbours had been locked in negotiations over a permanent deal to take the 22 year-old England international to Craven Cottage this week. Fulham are currently considering whether to table an improved offer for the Wandsworth-born wide man, who spent the second half of last season on loan with Bayer Leverkusen.
Hudson-Odoi, who rejected a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia earlier this summer, is eager to leave Stamford Bridge permanently this summer. The former Chelsea academy graduate, who has has scored sixteen goals in 126 games for the club, is understood to be intrigued by the prospect of remaining in London and reigniting his career in the Premier League.
Hudson odoi is not consistent. He also lacks the killer instinct of Damien Duff. He is no way as good as Joe Cole. It is best he leaves. I don’t think Chelsea will miss him. He is also being paid too much. He is just an average player
Should he smart enough to move to the only team in Fulham, Hudson-Odoi would be assured of a warm welcome at Craven Cottage. You must see a lot of average players at the Bridge these days, Fatahi, given that the Whites took four points off you last season.
I am back yo the old issue Wiilian would have cost nothing and is pure class. Is he still pondering our improved contract or has he turned that down as well. Hudson Odoi is a punt could be brilliant or a waste of space. 15 million seems a fair offer then maybe go back with 18 million but certainly nothing over 20 million
I am not convinced he is right player for our club. he has never set the world alight and consider we could better spend the money elsewhere I too like John W would like to know if resigning William is dead in the ground or there is still as possibility he will resign for us. Wishful thinking!!
Don’t want another Ruben ” I’m too good for you” Cheek, with an attitude problem.
Now it looks like Willian is resigning forget about Loftus Cheek. In my opinion he is over paid, over rated, and not a club man we can do far better for less
I cannot see why w e want to sign Loftus Cheek. He has not set the world alike in recent seasons not we have seemingly with Maros input to get Willian to sign a new contract we do not need him. Let’s look elsewhere
