Paul Peschisolido ensured Fulham kept up the pressure at the top of the Second Division by scoring a vital second goal in their impressive victory at Wrexham last night.
The Whites took the lead on fourteen minutes when Dutch wing-back Gus Uhlenbeek scored a sensational opener after sauntering down the right and firing low into the bottom corner. Canadian forward Peschisoldio made sure of the points on half an hour when he drove home from the edge of the area to ensure the Cottagers remained in second place, a point behind Stoke City – who won 2-0 at Burnley – with two games in hand.
