Antonee Robinson is poised to commit his long-term future to Fulham by signing a new contract, according to a report from the Athletic this afternoon.
The American international, who starred as Marco Silva’s side finished tenth on their return to the top flight last term, is believed to have been offered a five-year contract at Craven Cottage and appears ready to put pen to paper. The development is a significant boost to the Whites ahead of the new season – especially as Robinson has been linked with a move away from the club over the past twelve months.
The former Everton trainee has made 103 appearances and scored three goals since signing for Fulham from Wigan Athletic for £2m in August 2020. He quickly became Silva’s first choice left back and has established himself as an international regular as well, winning 36 senior caps for the United States. He started all of the USA’s games at the World Cup last winter and has lifted two CONCACAF Nations’ League titles in the last two years.
Well done Antonee fantastic loyalplayer ??????
That would be seriously good news.
Hard to replace and fits the system well.
Difficult enough to add to squad don’t want to be losing your best players as well.
very good to resign him. congrats to player @ coach
That’s great news we would have been stupid to let him go let’s start bringing in some new signings to push for European places next season and hopefully Marco will sign a new long term contract coyw
Hopefully he does not have a last minute change of mind. Nothing is certain until the contract is finally signed. Hopefully Willian will follow then look at signing some defenders as very short in this area.
Let’s get signing a new contract over the line without any last minute hitches. I agree there is a urgent need for more defenders as we have little or no cover especially as Toshin is likely to leave
