Fulham have sold a record number of season tickets ahead of the new Premier League campaign, the club revealed this afternoon.
The Whites reported on their website that all season tickets for the 2023/24 season had sold out and advertised memberships and hospitality – the full details of which have yet to be released – would be the only way for supporters to secure tickets to watch Marco Silva’s side in the top flight come August.
Great news great to see club doing well. I know there been moans about some of the new stands prizes , but I still feel rest of ground is a good deal at today prizes. And my first feelings is always for club to do well, know it’s hard for some fans in these hard times . But there would be moans if we didn’t sign players. FFP is the real problem for smaller clubs with rich owners, keeps the gap to big clubs
My issue isn’t with the pricing of the Riverside Stand, Daniel. That was always going to be premium pricing. It is the 18.5% average increase elsewhere in the middle of a cost-of-living crisis. We’re told that without the loyal fans, football is nothing. But the club’s prohibitive pricing will result in many loyal fans not being able to go. The suits don’t care because their place will be taken by others more than willing to pay for the moment. If Fulham went through the leagues and back to the brink of extinction again, the fans would once more have to save the club. I think it is worth thinking about.
I do feet for fans that can’t afford tickets. I’m a season ticket holder myself. But I understand the clubs position . They did keep season tickets at same prize a couple of years, and fill they look after the club well I’ve been a fan since 1969 and our last two owners are the best we’ve had by a long way. But we must always thank Jimmy Hill and the Muddymen for saving the club
