Fulham full back Layvin Kurzawa faces another spell on the sidelines after rupturing knee ligaments during training at Motspur Park.
The French international, who has scored twice in six appearances since moving to Craven Cottage on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, will now need at least a month’s rehabilitation before contemplating a return to action before the end of the season. The 30 year-old has struggled with injuries during his time with Fulham, having to be withdrawn before half time on his debut against Newcastle in October after suffering a recurrence of a hamstring problem.
Marco Silva will need to reshuffle his pack for tonight’s FA Cup fifth round tie against Leeds United, with Kurzawa – a scorer in both of the previous rounds against Hull City and Sunderland – likely to have been in his starting line-up with Monday’s local derby at Brentford looming on the horizon. The Fulham head coach could turn to first choice Antonee Robinson or ask January signing Cedric Soares to fill in at left back.
