In-form forward Martial Godo wants Fulham’s under 21s to continue their strong run of form at Blackburn Rovers in this afternoon’s PL2 encounter.
The former Margate man, a scorer in the 5-0 PL Cup demolition of Queens Park Rangers at Motspur Park in midweek, told the club’s official website that confidence is high among Steve Wigley’s squad ahead of today’s trip to Lancashire.
“It’s really important to find wins and continue to pick up points as the season progresses. We produced a really positive performance, so confidence is really high within the group as it always is. We have complete trust in the way we play and how hard we work in the build up to the game and actually on pitch. Myself and the rest of the team don’t focus too much on the situation with the other team. We’ve got to make sure we do all the right things in order to win this game and climb the table.”
