Fulham head coach Marco Silva lavished further praise on Manor Solomon after the Israeli international’s second goal in seven days stole a vital three points from Brighton and Hove Albion this weekend.
The 23 year-old winger followed up his first goal for the Whites against Nottingham Forest last Saturday with the winner at the AMEX Stadium only six minutes after coming on as a substitute. Solomon’s superb finish lifted the Londoners into sixth place in the top flight table – helping them steal a march on the hosts, who are now managed by his former Shakhtar Donetsk coach Roberto di Zerbi.
Silva told his post-match press conference on the south coast that Solomon is improving with every day after returning to first team action after almost six months on the sidelines with a serious knee injury.
“He deserves all the credit. Great finish from him. He’s getting better and better and better, He deserves it because 2022 was so difficult for him, on the pitch but off the pitch as well. Everything that has happened in his life, in his professional life as well. He is feeling better, he is helping the team, he’s scoring goals. He’s enjoying the Premier League because he’s a boy who loves football. I am really pleased for him and he is ready to help us more and more.”
Super finish last Saturday but it’s his interplay coming forward that is most impressive.
