England youth international defender Stefan Parkes has made sensational progress since joining the Fulham academy in the summer 2004 after local rivals Brentford abolished theirs. He made his under 18s debut only two days after turning 15 and, after becoming an inspirational captain, he turned professional in September 2021. The teenager, considered a real prospect at both Motspur Park and St. George’s Park, was named on the bench for Fulham’s Premier League debut by Newcastle in October 2002.
