We’d like to wish the entire Fulham family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from everybody at Hammyend.com.
We are astonished by the continued support of the Fulham fanbase for a little project dreamt up by an idealistic teenager and a super Swede in a Stockholm apartment back in 2003. Neither Nick nor I envisaged our website, designed to be a place where supporters could get Fulham news and views written with the fans in mind, still going nearly two decades later. We certainly could never have imagined the amount of interest, traffic, feedback and kind wishes that come our way every day from Fulham fans all around the globe.
You have surpassed yourselves this year by also encouraging the emergence of our podcast, The Green Pole, which was the brainchild of Alan Drewett, who has also brought you many of the brilliant audio interviews with some of the players we’ve loved in the Fulham shirt. They’ll be much more to come in 2023.
We wish you a wonderful day with your loved ones today and hope to see you at Selhurst Park on Boxing Day or at Craven Cottage in the near future. The enthusiasm displayed by those of you who live outside of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland has been so inspiring – and we are grateful that international supporters are such a vibrant part of our Hammyend audience.
Thank you for reading, commenting on and sharing our content. We’ve loved covering not just Marco Silva’s side, but the club’s outstanding academy set-up and the fabulous Fulham Women this year. We looked forward to many more black and white discussions in the year ahead.
