Argentina international goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga began the 2021/22 campaign as Fulham’s number one following his free transfer arrival from Tottenham Hotspur. But he was dropped following a series of costly errors and academy graduate Marek Rodak kept Gazzaniga out of the side for the remainder of the season as the Whites won the Championship title. Following the signing of Bernd Leno, Gazzaniga joined Girona on loan.
