Roy Hodgson loaned Stefano Okaka after the promising Italian striker had scored in Fulham’s Europa League defeat at the San Siro in the autumn of 2009. He scored three goals in thirteen appearances for the Whites, despite being cup-tied for the remainder of their European campaign. Okaka opened his account in the FA Cup win over Notts County and then scored a first league goal against Wigan Athletic, before also finding the net against West Ham in April 2010.
