Danish defensive midfielder Leon Andreasen helped make Fulham far more difficult to play through as Roy Hodgson’s side managed to starve off relegation in the Great Escape. The Danish international found first team opportunities more difficult to come by in Hodgson’s first full season in charge and joined Hannover on loan in 2009 before making that move permanent the following May.
