Seol Ki-Hyeon arrived at Craven Cottage on transfer deadline day in 2007 as part of a swap deal that saw Liam Rosenior head to Reading. The South Korean international made his Fulham debut in a 1-1 draw against Wigan Athletic but didn’t feature once Roy Hodgson had replaced Lawrie Sanchez at the end of December 2007. He got back into favour the following year, scoring Fulham’s opening goal of the new season at Hull City but struggled for game time with the improved form of Clint Dempsey and Zoltan Gera. Seol joined Al-Hilal on loan and returned to fight for his first-team spot, scoring at the start of Fulham’s Europa League run in Vilnius. He eventually cancelled his contract by mutual consent in January 2010 and is currently manager of Gyeongnam FC, who compete in South Korea’s second division.
