Marco Silva admits that Fulham are waiting to see whether Napoli will trigger their option to buy on-loan midfielder Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa.
Anguissa has become an influential figure for Luciano Spaletti’s side since making an early-season switch to Serie A, making 26 appearances as Napoli sit in third table in the Italian top flight. There has been continual speculation about whether Napoli would pay the reported £12.5m fee written into the loan agreement, with Fulham giving their attempts to negotiate a discount short shrift.
When asked about Anguissa’s future this afternoon, Silva said – as quoted by the Athletic:
“He is on loan, the club has the option. And of course, we have to wait until that moment. They have a timeline, a date, to decide and we have to wait for their decision.”
What is the timeline for this particular clause in the loan? June 30th? May 30th? May 15?
Why bother with him. Just let him go at the best possible price. He only wants to play for Fulham when the times are good.
Good riddance to him.
He’s a play when he feels like it type of player.
