Fulham have yet to decide on the future of Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa with the club set to talk to the midfielder over the summer, according to reports this afternoon.
The Cameroonian international has impressed on loan at Napoli this term having told Fulham head coach Marco Silva that he didn’t want to play in the Championship on the eve of the new season. But the Italian side decided against exercising their option to make the move permanent for a rumoured £13m in January and recent reports in the Italian press suggest Napoli are haggling for a discount on the 26 year-old after he suffered a number of knee injuries.
Fulham are unlikely to acquiesce to those demands and could well welcome Anguissa back to Craven Cottage for a third Premier League campaign should the former Marseilles man, who signed a new contract with the Whites before moving to Naples, be keen on another tilt at the top flight.
More interested in keeping Williams and Cavallo and Bringing in Bale – The 32-year old is out of contract this summer with Madrid – he want want to stay there now! If he is on free transfer might be able to pay wages ! Crazy Idea?
I think we should move on – we need to continue to build on the club mentality and welcoming back a guy that didn’t want to wear the shirt irrespective of the division wouldn’t fit that culture. Let’s face it he has never been a real game changer for us – take the money and invest in players that want to play for this great club.
Why spend good money after bad. He has already proved that he doesn’t want to play for us and don’t forget he was no great shakes in the premier league last time. We should invest the money on players who could make a real difference
I thought he was just the sort of physical driving forward midfielder we will need for Premiership
PEZ that is a crazy idea…..
Exactly what we need, but his attitude is terrible. Won’t play for us in the Championship, won’t play for us in the Premiership if we’re doing badly; he has no interest in actually representing Fulham, so does not deserve to be rewarded with another Premier League season. He absolutely needs to be sold. And Napoli need to be told they cannot have him for a cut price too. Why would anyone agree to let a play who’s had a good season, have their asking price reduced? It should be increased! (but we can’t do that because the current price was pre-agreed)
