Harry Wilson is wary of a stylish Swansea side who have hit form under Russell Martin and knows the Welsh outfit will provide a stern test for Fulham tomorrow night.

The Welsh international expects a hot reception from the home fans following his loan spell at local rivals Cardiff City last season and he told FFCTV that Fulham will need to be at their very best to preserve their fine away record.

“I think when they came here earlier in the season, they were controlling possession and we found it tough. It was difficult at times, but we ended up winning that game 3-1 so we know if we can keep our shape, be comfortable without the ball, we know that when we do get the ball our attacking players can cause them problems and that’s what we’ll be looking to do. They are a great, great team. I think the manager has gone in there this season and got them playing a great style and I think the players have bought into that – speaking to a few them when we go away with Wales. We know what we’re going to face, it will be up to us to set up and cause them problems go the other way.”

Wilson was delighted that the league leaders recorded a comfortable win over fellow promotion contenders Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.

“I think the first half especially, we played some good stuff. I thought we controlled the game, scored two goals which set us on the way. The second half probably from our point of view wasn’t as comfortable as what we wanted, but I thought we were solid and deserved the win.

He praised the ball-playing ability of centre half Tosin Adarabioyo, who set up Wilson’s goal with a glorious through ball

“It’s been coming. He’s been on to me for a while – because his passes to me have been good, but I haven’t been able to finish them off! I was happy I was able to finish the one on Saturday and give him the assist he deserves. I think the quality we’ve got all over the pitch. Whenever Tos gets the ball, I try to make my runs because I know he can find me. I think it is the same on the other side – whether it is Neeskens or Bobby, they know that Tim’s got the same quality as well. It’s great for the forward players to have those players behind us.”

Wilson was pleased to hit the back of the net again – making it ten goals to go alongside thirteen assists in an outstanding first season at Craven Cottage.

“I was little bit frustrated that my numbers had dried up for a few games, but we were still winning those games so I wasn’t overly concerned. To get back on the assist sheet against Cardiff and to score against Blackburn, I feel my performances the last performances have picked up again. I didn’t really set myself any targets, but throughout the season as you wrack numbers you set yourself some goals. We’re winning games – so that’s my main focus.”
