Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic has been named the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month for April.
A second successive award for the unstoppable Serbian. Mitrovic scored in five of his six games, including the winners against Sheffield Wednesday and Sunderland.
As well as his all-round contribution, his passion for the club as a loan player is striking.
Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic said: “He’s had a huge impact. He showed the quality he has fighting with this team and he’s doing a great job for us.
“We’re very satisfied to have him and we hope he’s going to play a big part in Fulham’s promotion.”
Mitrovic said: “It feels great, I’m glad for the award, but I’m even happier that the team is doing well and keep winning games.
“We have one game to go before the end of the regular season, so we have to focus on this game to try and win and see what happens with Cardiff.
“Coming to Fulham has gone much better than I could have ever expected and I hope it can continue.”
Sky Sports’ EFL pundit Don Goodman said: “Back to back awards for the striker who can’t stop scoring. Goals in all but one of April’s games proved the difference for Fulham in their crusade to pile the pressure on Cardiff. “You wonder how good Fulham’s season could’ve been had he been there from the start.”
