Swansea are seeking to take over Fulham’s loan of Watford attacking midfielder Domingos Quina for the remainder of the season, according to various reports.
Both Watford and Fulham are willing to terminate the temporary arrangement that has seen the Portuguese playmaker struggle to make an impression at Craven Cottage since his switch on the final day of the August transfer window. Quina has made just four appearances under Marco Silva, who has previously criticised his work rate, and has failed to last the full ninety minutes on each occasion. It was suggested earlier this month that the Hornets would be eager to find him a new home in the hope that the 22 year-old could gain more frequent first team opportunities.
Swansea boss Russell Martin is eager to add more creativity in the final third – and spoke of his desire to give his attackers ‘more help’ following the midweek draw at Queens Park Rangers.
Sadly, it would be best for all if he moved on, watched him at Blackpool and wondered what the hell he was doing on the pitch, truly dreadful, it may well be that there is a good player inside, but to date he has kept it very well hidden.
