Fulham are looking to lure Leicester City midfielder Daniel Amartey to Craven Cottage on loan this month, according to various reports.
The Ghana international has long figured on the London club’s list of targets and they failed to sign him in the summer. The 25 year-old is unlikely to get senior football at the King Power Stadium having not played a first-team match since breaking his ankle fifteen months ago and the Championship promotion chances are hopeful of striking a deal with Brendon Rodgers.
Fulham feel Amartey’s ability to play either in central midfield or as a centre half could be valuable during the Championship run-in. Amartey will bring valuable experience to the Fulham squad, having made more than sixty appearances for the Foxes during his four years at the club, which included that memorable title winning 2015/2016 campaign.
