Nice to see Kagisho Dikgacoi, who I thought had a pretty effective came against Bolton on Sunday, joining the work the Premier League’s players are doing to win the fight against poverty in Africa.
Soccer for Africa will help to provide aid, jobs and business development on the continent.
Some of us know what it means to be poor and we appreciate every minute of the fortunate lives we’ve been able to build, but we always remember those who have the will but no means to improve their lives. It is great that the likes of Aaron Mokoena, Didier Drogba, Craig Bellamy and others are dedicating their time to becoming involved with changing the lives of those less fortunate.
Completely agree that he looked good in his brief appearance Saturday. Smart passes. Forward passes (they are legal, Mr. Greening). Real shame that the West Ham match cost him playing time – and I assume we lose him in January for the Nations Cup. Hope he gets to play Thursday night against Sofia.
Sadly, he’s not registered for the Europa League so we won’t see him on Thursday. On the plus side, South Africa didn’t qualify for the African Nations so we’ll hopefully have him to do a job in Janaury.
