Ismael Ehui grabbed both goals as Fulham’s under 18s beat Birmingham City in the third round of the FA Youth Cup at Craven Cottage last night.
The young Whites, with a sprinkling of talent from the club’s under-15 and under-16 sides, earned fulsome praise from academy manager John Murtough, who told Fulham’s official website: “It was a great team performance. All of the players showed great maturity”.
Fulham have been drawn against either Wigan Athletic or Leeds United in round four. That tie will take place before 22 January 2005
