Fulham and Leeds United are in negotiations about a potential deal for England under-21 international Fabian Delph, according to the Daily Mirror.
Roy Hodgson sees the young midfielder as a possible replacement for Jimmy Bullard, who signed for Hull City in a £5m deal last week, but has yet to meet Leeds’ valuation for the promising midfielder. Fulham had an initial bid of around £2.5m rejected by United earlier this week, with Leeds understood to be holding out for a deal worth £6m.
Fulham have not been deterred by their lack of success and are now discussing a structured deal with performance related add-ons that could eventually rise to £6m.
