Fulham face a fight for the signature of Nacer Chadli after Ajax confirmed their interest Belgian international.
The winger has one year left on his current contract but is expected to leave Dutch side FC Twente this summer after the player’s agent Daniel Evrard had claimed the west Londoners wanted to sign him.
Now Amsterdam giants Ajax have shown their hand regards the 23-year-old who scored 24 goals in 82 Eredivisie games.
Arsenal legend and current sporting director Marc Overmars told De Telegraaf: “We are interested. That’s right. Chadli would fit in well with us.”
