Fulham boss Mark Hughes hopes Steve Sidwell will be available for next week’s clash with Blackpool.
The Fulham midfielder has been sidelined for the past month with a knee injury, but is due to return to training this week.
And boss Hughes reckons the 28-year-old will continue where he left off after a bright start to his Craven Cottage career.
He said: “Steve’s going to need a number of sessions to get back to that level but he’s a fit guy.
“We don’t anticipate he’ll lose too much fitness during the time he’s been out, so hopefully we can get him back very quickly.
“He’s done well since he’s come here and it would be good to have him as an option again.”
Meanwhile, Philippe Senderos was also expected to return to training at Motspur Park this week after a hamstring problem.
