DR Congo and Monaco star Dieumerci Mbokani wants to leave French Ligue 1 strugglers Monaco after playing just 10 games for them.
The striker moved to Monaco at the end of last season but failed to settle.
With the side down in 17th place in the table, coach Guy Lacombe was sacked at the beginning of the week, but this has made no difference to Mbokani.
“I still want to leave, it has come too late,” he told French newspaper L’Equipe.
“I have told [the club] that if they have an offer for me they must accept it.”
The Congolese player’s own form has come in for criticism, despite the limited number of games he has played – he has scored only once during the current season.
“I have had a difficult spell, it is true, but what footballer hasn’t?” he said.
“How can you judge me on ten games? I was bought to score goals but in this system I have to defend a lot – I feel more like a midfielder.
“If I continue to work like I have, you will see goals – I will score goals, here or elsewhere.”
Mbokani has been linked with a move to Fulham in the English Premier League or the Bundesliga side Hoffenheim in Germany
