Fulham are the latest club keen to secure a loan move for Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor, according to newspaper reports.
The Togolese striker has been linked with loan moves to Liverpool and Tottenham after falling out of favour at Eastlands.
Real Madrid were also thought to be keen on securing the services of the former Arsenal front-man as a replacement for Gonzalo Higuain, who will miss four months after undergoing back surgery.
Adebayor has also reportedly rejected loan approaches from a number of other clubs so far in the transfer window, such as West Ham, believing he can secure a better deal elsewhere.
The striker has only made eight Premier League appearances so far this season following the summer arrivals of the likes of Mario Balotelli and David Silva in the summer, managing just a single goal in the league.
The recent arrival of £27 million signing Edin Dzeko from Wolfsburg seems likely to hasten Adebayor’s departure and Mark Hughes’ side are reportedly willing to offer £80,000 towards his wages.
However, City are seemingly holding out until a side meets Adebayor’s full £140,000-a-week wages.
