HammyEnd.com has been the home of original Fulham news and views for nearly two decades now. The site originally launched as a bilingual fans community in July 2003, linking the passion that powered the Fulham offering on Swedish fans’ website SvenskaFans, with news and analysis from London. The website brought together friends and Fulham fanatics Nick Bylund and Dan Crawford, who still work on it today.
Our aim has always been to provide intelligent writing on the club with love as well as keeping supporters up to date on the news that might not be reported elsewhere. The team also currently includes Lydia Campbell, who since making her debut on these pages has gone on to become a sports journalist with the BBC, Max Cohen, Alan Drewett and Frankie Taylor. We are always keen to hear from anyone who is interested in writing about Fulham – and HammyEnd has helped launch a number of successful journalistic careers.
We are also very proud of our association with lifelong Fulham fan, Danny Fullbrook. Danny was the award winning chief sports correspondent of the Daily Star, who lost his brave battle against cancer far too young. He was an enthusiastic early supporter of the site, which we have continued in his memory. We are proud supporters of the Fearless Foundation, set up in Danny’s memory, and offer opportunities for the sports journalists of the future to access the media industry through our work with Fearless, Fulham Football Club and the Club’s fantastic Foundation, the Fulham Supporters’ Trust and the Football Writers’ Association.
