Eidur Gudjohnsen is ready to join Fulham for the rest of the season after snubbing a move to Stoke City.
The Monaco striker will have chosen a London club for the second season running after he turned down West Ham in favour of Tottenham.
Stoke thought they had closed the deal for the Iceland striker and were said to be willing to pay him £1.5m in wages.
But the former Chelsea and Barcelona star, who returned to Monaco after his loan spell at Spurs, will join Fulham after the Cottagers agreed to pay them a £2m contribution towards his wages.
