Roy Hodgson has given updates on Fulham’s current progress in the transfer market.
He insists that Milton Keynes will need to drop their £500,000 asking price for Dean Lewington if a deal is to be done for the full back, who is the son of Hodgson’s assistant, Roy.
“Dean only has a year to go on his current contract, so there is much work to do before we can agree anything.”
Hodgson was emphatic that no move has been made for Wisla Krakow striker Pavel Brozak, despite newspaper reports claiming that the Whites were close to a £3.5m deal.
“We sent someone to look at him, it’s true. But to tell you the truth, I’ve yet to see those reports, and that will have to wait until I come back.”
The Fulham boss also poured scorn on suggestions that Hull were close to succeeding with a £2m bid for Bobby Zamora.
“I’m not the one to speak to about that. You should ask our chief executive. But £2m for Bobby? That sounds rubbish to me.”
