Fulham’s French full back Ziyad Larkeche has been shortlisted for the PL2 Player of the Month Award for October.

The teenager has been in sensational form for Steve Wigley’s side this season as the young Whites have surged to the top of the table. Larkeche has been a key part of a miserly defence that kept two clean sheets as they went unbeaten throughout the last month but also demonstrated a more adventurous side to his game, scoring in the victory over Nottingham Forest and setting up a couple of goals in the 3-0 defeat of Reading.

Larkeche has been nominated alongside West Ham defender Jamal Baptiste, Manchester United’s winger Anthony Elanga, Spurs wide man Dilan Markanday, Arsenal midfielder Salah-Eddine Oulad M’Hand, Aston Villa’s Aaron Ramsey and the Southampton centre back Dynel Simeu.
