Neeskens Kebano is enjoying his longest run in the Fulham side since coming to England five years ago – and wants to continue his rich vein of form after starring in the sensational win at Blackburn Rovers.

The Congolese winger scored twice and laid on the first of Rodrigo Muniz’s late double as Marco Silva’s hit seven at Ewood Park last night. He told FFCTV after the final whistle of his delight at what proved to be a perfect evening on the road:

“Not a bad night at all! Going forward we were good, we created a lot of situations and put the ball in the net. We got the clean sheet, that’s the cherry on the cake and we’re happy.

“We spoke about Mitro scoring a lot and stuff but we need to show to other teams too that apart from Mitro, there’s also other players who can also do the Mitro job! It’s important for me. It is also good for the confidence. Me having two goals, Harry and Rodrigo getting two. It’s very good for us. I think you could see when he scored he was like so happy.”

Kebano knows that competition for places remains fierce at Fulham, but he is revelling in the faith shown in him by Silva and will be working hard to retain his spot.

“It is the longest run I have had so far. Every game that I play in now will be a game where I try to give my everything, my maximum and try to play again the next game.”
