Fulham are holding discussions with Hertha Berlin right back Deyovaisio Zeefuik about a possible deadline day move, according to reports this morning.
Marco Silva is in the hunt for a new right back after Kenny Tete’s hamstring injury – sustained a week ago in the win over Hull City – proved more severe than first thought. Zeefuik, who came through the famed Ajax youth academy, spent two years with FC Groningen before joining Hertha Berlin last August.
The 23 year-old was included in the Dutch U21 for last year’s European Championships and has made 25 appearances for Hertha, scoring a single goal. Zeefuik has played three games for Hertha in the Bundesliga this season.
Good enough for Marco Silva then good
enough for me.
Great to see Marco Silva pushing for reinforcements as it’s going to be a tough season and we already have a few injured players.
Don’t know him, but with Tete’s injury we need competition in that spot. Let’s hope we don’t lose any important piece of the squad today. COYW
