Fulham forward Aboubakar Kamara is expected to undergo a medical in Greece tomorrow ahead of his proposed £3m move to Aris.
The Mauritanian international has reportedly agreed a four-year contract with the Greek Super League side after Fulham and Aris finally reached agreement on a permanent deal following a series of stop-start negotiations this summer. The 26 year-old is poised to become the Thessaloniki side’s club record signing.
Kamara’s brief substitute appearance as Marco Silva sought a winner against Middlesbrough on Sunday looks like being the last of an incident-packed Craven Cottage career. Signed from Amiens for around £5m in 2017, the powerful forward scored seventeen goals in 92 appearances for Fulham but was involved in a series of off-field controversies, one of which saw him arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm and criminal damage at the club’s Motspur Park training ground.
I sincerely hope this is finally the back of this man. Such a poor footballer with no clue about ball control nor positional sense. Strange outbursts in training which on one occasion led to an arrest and then takes the ball off Mitro to miss a penalty. I’d give him away!
He is pure championship quality player no higher. Even so you can not question his effort although his talent was not at the same level.
His 2 goals vs QPR was worth his stay.
Thanks. Watching him come on on Sunday was depressing… Props to his agent, what a salesman he must be.
Good luck to him but I won’t be sorry to see him go
Never really could make out AK47 . There is such a potential there , he can have moments of genius and terrorize a defense . Bring on last 20 /25 minutes and he can be a shocker. But alternatively he can self-implode, run around senseless, give away penalties, full out with team members … Basically he is Nuts … If he keFeps himself in order he might be worth the 3million . But from FFC perspective this is good
good ridance
Its about time. Should have gone after the penalty incident with Mitro.
What is going on with Muniz???
Great pace for a guy his size but atrocious skillset I mean he had the first touch of fred the weatherman
Whilst pace and power are important ingredients of a footballer, it is simply not enough in itself with no other defining skills. More suited to a Forrest Gump movie as a stand in!
I wish him luck but it says a lot that various Fulham coaches and that of his loan club last season could not improve him to a standard that Fulham require and expect.
