Careful. Did you fall off your chair? It’s official – Kagisho Dikgacoi is a Fulham player having completed his transfer from Golden Arrows for a fee rumoured to be in the region of £500,000.

The South African midfielder has agreed a two-year contract after spending the summer on trial with the club. He’s been the subject of some good-natured jokes given the on-off nature of his transfer, but now he’s here we certainly hope he can channel all his enthusiasm into some strong performances on the pitch.

I am so happy that my transfer to Fulham has been finalised. I have spent most of the summer training with the players and getting to know them and all of the coaching staff. I have been given a wonderful chance to be part of a fantastic team playing in one of the best leagues in the world, this is something very special to me and an opportunity that I am going to grab with both hands.
