Fulham goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar says he is unsure where he will be playing next season, despite having been offered a new contract.

The 34-year-old is a free agent in the summer, and told the Evening Standard he wanted to make his mind up soon.

“No clubs have contacted me or my agent yet. Because of that we are keeping all options open,” he said.

“My family is important in my decision. We have to decide together what we do want and what we don’t want.”

The Dutch keeper joined Fulham from Juventus on a four-year deal in 2001.

He said returning to the Netherlands was an option, although he had not received any offers from there yet, but he would make a decision soon.

“Things must be more clear soon because I don’t want to wait until May or June,” he said.
