The Evening Standard is reporting that Kagisho Dikgacoi has just been granted a work permit for his move to Fulham. Hopefully the deal will go through without a hitch now.

You mean he really does exist? Even Roy believes in him now. Good luck to him and hope this week sees a couple of new faces.
Finally!!
Hopefully whenever Damien comes (excitment much!!), him and KG will provide an extra edge to our midfield.
Excited about our Irishman are you, Lydia? 😉
Don’t see KG displacing Dickson straight away if I’m honest.
No news from the official, Lighthouse, so his existence remains rumoured rather than fact. That comment made me laugh, though.
I am quite. He will bring alot of experience to our team. No, I think Etuhu will hold his place for a whilt ut KG will be good cover. Etuhu is one of our most improved players!
Amen to that. Etuhu was immense again on Saturday – he’s developing into a really solid performer. I wonder where all his critics are hiding now!
Absolutly! I’m really glad him and others (aka Pantsil) have proven their worth!
Did you get my email address, Dan?
Yeah. You should have mail.
got it and have just replied! Thanks
Hi,
My name’s Sam and I was a Dickson Etuhu doubter. I’ve come out of hiding to profess my admiration for Dickson’s development at Fulham and beg for forgiveness.
For my sins, I wasn’t sold on Pantsil or Zamora either. I’m happy to be proved wrong on the former but Bobby’s still got some way to go.
Etuhu’s been brilliant since he broke into the first team. I hope – and think – that there might be even more to come. Credit to Roy for picking him up for what now looks like a steal (I think at the time people were complaining about the fee).
From my perspective from the JH stand, Etuhu has been solid in some games but off the pace in others. He’s a big, powerful guy who could use his bulk more to win the ball in midfield and to support the back four. And his ball control is lacking, often letting it get away from him. That said, he is improving. He’s got a way to go to be as good as “the Wardrobe” was for us a few seasons ago. Dunno much about him but maybe Dikgacoi could be the one?
Interesting to get another perspective on Etuhu Alan, because I often watch games from behind the goal (either in the Hammersmith End or the away end, which is behind the goal at most grounds).
I felt Diop did muscle him off the ball a little easily early on at Portsmouth and agree he could use his strength more, but he’s definitely improving. Personally I only thought Bouba had one really strong season for us – and Etuhu himself has said that there’s more to come from him. Not sure about Dikgacoi (the talk about his transfer seems to have gone a bit quiet). Even if he signs I think he would be a work in progress while he adapts to the English game.
It is quite an interesting deabte about Dickson. There is no doubt that at frist like many I thought that he was not apremiership player. He has proven since Bullard left to be more than capacble in they system he employed. He is a natural athlete that works hard as a footballer. With Duff and Riise then we might actually end up seeing Dempsey have the chance to move to the centre of midfield alongside Murphy. If all fit then Duff / Dempsey / Murphy / Davies seems a mouth watering midfield. Dickson, Riise and Gera give options with as we have already seen under Roy Chris Baird providing further backup.
Roy icks teams to play a system and I think we might just be seeing the ability for Fulahm to have more than one system.
It’s pretty clear that Etuhu’s surprised a fair few people Alan C. He’s a much better fit for Roy’s system than Bullard was.
In terms of how we line up now that we’ve signed Duff, that’s really interesting. I would reckon that a central midfield of Dempsey and Murphy might be a little lightweight for the Premier League – you probably need a ballwinner in there to protect the back four. Plus, I think Roy seems Clint as most effective in a wide position, unless he’s going to play in an advanced role between the striker(s).
As for two systems, that’s a new thought but Roy loves the 4-4-2. I’d be very surprised to see him switching between two formations regularly during the season.
I don’t see Dempsey as a lightweight in anyway what so ever. The idea of him bursting forward in support of the front two is also mouthwatering.
4-4-2 is Roys prefered but with the midfield we have now it can be out and out attack or park the bus defence – Two systems. Like or not 4-5-1 is an option (although not sure who is the ‘1’) in that system. Also 4-3-3. With Roys organisation and clever selection of subs we coudl see all of them in one game!
I am really looking forward to Thursday and Sunday…..Sad old git!!
What I meant was I don’t think Dempsey would be as combative as Etuhu and I can’t see Roy dropping Murphy so we’d lose a bit of bite in the tackle. I can only really see Clint playing in the middle if Murphy’s unavailable or if we switch to five in midfield. If we were going with one up front, I’d imagine the most likely to play that role would be Zamora.
I see what you mean about the subtly in the system. I think we’ll be well set up for counter-attacking football once Duff settles in on the left.
This young whippersnapper can’t wait for Thursday – and, of course, Sunday will be great fun.
