Greek outfit Aris have offered £3.5m for Fulham forward Aboubakar Kamara, according to various reports this weekend.

The Greek Super League side have proposed a structured deal with another £1m in add-ons for the 26 year-old. Kamara spent the second half of last season on loan at Dijon, who were relegated from Ligue 1. It remains to be seen whether the French forward will be at Craven Cottage next season as he has been little more than a bit-part player over the past couple of seasons and Fulham’s managerial situation is still up in the air.

Kamara’s incident-filled spell in west London begin in July 2017 when he arrived from Amiens. The striker, who was used successfully on the right wing in the closing weeks of Fulham’s first Championship promotion season under Slavisa Jokanovic, has scored 17 goals in 91 appearances for the Whites. But controversy has followed him both on and off the pitch. He missed a penalty against Huddersfield after refusing to hand the ball over to Aleksandar Mitrovic, infuriating then-manager Claudio Ranieri, and was involved in a flare-up with the Serbian striker during a yoga session the following months. After a fight with a security guard at Motspur Park, Kamara was shipped out to Turkish side Yeni Malatyaspor.

Scott Parker reintegrated Kamara back into the first-team squad the following season but with his own future at Craven Cottage very much in doubt – a permanent move away from Fulham might be on the cards. That would leave the Whites with little striking cover for Mitrovic, who has also been linked with a summer departure following Fulham’s relegation from the top flight.
