Tranquillo Barnetta, previously rumoured to be a Fulham transfer target, has announced his attention to leave Bayer Leverkusen. The Swiss midfielder has one year to run on his current deal and media reports suggests that he would welcome a move to England.
Aston Villa are also reported to be keen on bringing Barnetta, rumoured to be likely to cost somewhere in the region of £5m, to the Premier League. The man himself is a little coy about his future.
A change to a new league would be good for me. There are a few possibilities but I have not signed with anyone.
