Andreas Pereira remains ‘100 per cent open to leaving Fulham this summer’ so he can compete for trophies, according to reports from Brazil.
The Brazilian international’s representatives have told Jorge Nicola that the 28 year-old, who turned down a contract extension offer from the Whites last year, is ready to leave Craven Cottage if he can remain in Europe and ‘challenge for titles’. The former Manchester United midfielder’s agency have confirmed that there are no current negotiations with Palmeiras and Flamengo, who remain keen on taking Pereira home, but did not deny that their client wants to leave SW6.
Pereira angered Marco Silva and Fulham by openly discussing a move away from the Cottage last term and the Premier League club alerted potential suitors in March that the playmaker, previously an integral part of Silva’s side, would be up for sale this summer. Atletico Madrid and Marseille, whom Pereira expressed an interest in playing for last autumn, are still interested in signing the attacking midfielder but it remains to be seen whether they would pay Fulham’s £15m asking price.
Pereira has made 119 appearances – scoring ten goals – since signing for Fulham for £10m in July 2022. He has less than twelve months left on his current deal, with the Cottagers holding an option for a further year – which they are not expected to activate.
Cheerio, cheerio, cheerio!
Yep, fine. Off you go then. £15m seems low though.
Get a good fee remembering Manchester united will receive 20% and replace him with a player who at least can deliver decent free kicks and corners. What is happening about Tom Cairney all has gone quiet
Taxi for Mr Perreira
Nearest station Putney Bridge
I am incensed. Pereira if you were as good a player as you think you are then fine, BUT YOU ARE NOT. You are less than the crap side of average and poor in all aspects of the game. You were booted out of ManU (a team expected to win trophies) says a lot about you and your non-existent skill base. The likely trophies you are going to win are:-
1) Dickhead of the Year.
2) Least liked player on the pitch.
3) Fans favourite to lambast.
4) Finest hair on the pitch (possibly in the stadium).
5) The Zippa, ” I cant stand you award”.
I detest you and do not waste money on a taxi I will drive you to the airport.
After all this vilification I hope that this is not another case of mis-interpretation or I will have to eat a lot of humble pie.
Bye
Really not going to miss a man who can’t take a free kick or clear the first man at a corner
He’s always worked hard on pitch full of Energy I’ll give him that. Free kicks Average at best composure in front of goal poor , Fulham best player no, worthy of higher standard no. But hope a big club comes in and pays us money he may think he’s better than us. I fill we need a upgrade to him to go to next level, let’s hope he goes soon he’s a legend in his own mind
I cannot fault his effort but his delivery from free kicks and corners are diabolical. Not he worst players last season that prize goes to ESR.However do not let him go on the cheap stick out for £20 million plus. He is clearly not as good as he thinks
I think he was quite valuable in our first season back in the prem, however since then I think he has struggled to improve on that good start. Once again the valuation is quite low-Brighton, Brentford, and Bournemouth almost without exception manage to get their valuation for the players that they sell-we seem meek on that front, I wonder why?
I for one would love to attend Zippa’s award ceremony ?
I’m also 100 percent open to leaving my job so I can go and win some trophies
Good. Hurry up and fk off then.
Pereira on his own is not the problem with Fulham’s midfield. It is when he and ESR are on the pitch at the same time.
ESR does not have the physicality or mobility to contribute defensively leaving Pereira in a deeper role that just doesn’t suit him.
I agree with Zippa. Sling him out.
His haïr do is of an embarrassant
It’s not because we are have a white shirt that you need to dye your haïr
Trophy ? No 1 worse look in the premiership
But lets sell him for 25 million and try and get reimbursed some of the wasted wages he got from us
Glad to see the back of him. Wouldn’t spend £15 million on him that’s for sure. Legend in his own head.
I have given Pereira the benefit of the doubt more than once. On his day he is technically gifted, has a good right foot and the right aggression to succeed. However, time and time again he makes the wrong choice, he passes when he should keep the ball, he stops when he should track back. Those of you who say that Pereira is not a gifted player are wrong, his selection for Brasil duty proves my point, but he is nowhere as good as he thinks he is. In my opinion we can afford to lose him, we need however to get a decent price with which to invest in a good number 8 to replace him. Both Berge and ESR are a different kind of player, we need a player with the mix of the two. That is my opinion, and Periera should talk less!
I won’t be sorry to see him go but can he take ESR with him I don’t know why we paid all that money for ESR someone needs to take the blame for that.
I agree with Simon he does try and has talent but makes wrong decisions. Plus delivery for SP is not good enough. If in his heart he wants to go then let him leave but he needs a replacement for sure
