Willian and Issa Diop will be available for Fulham’s trip to Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon.
The veteran Brazilian winger was substituted at half-time during Fulham’s fabulous five-goal thrashing of West Ham United on Sunday having appeared to injure his hamstring, but has returned to training. French centre back Issa Diop, who has been missing since sustaining a foot injury before Sheffield United equalised at Craven Cottage in September, will also come in contention having played a full part in preparation at Motspur Park this week.
Marco Silva also revealed during this afternoon’s press conference that he will be without Tim Ream until after Christmas as the American has strained his calf.
“Tim Ream will be out and Adama [Traore] as well. Tim felt something in his calf after we played Nottingham Forest. Let’s see we have to keep assessing him. He’s doing rehabilitation with the medical department. He’s not training. It’s probably going to be too early (for him to return) before Christmas.”
Please keep the same team to start
Tosin and Bassey should be the first choice starters on merit.
