Fulham manager Martin Jol has confirmed that Damien Duff will miss the west London derby against Chelsea on Wednesday and is unlikely to return for Saturday’s clash with Arsenal.

Duff, who has a groin problem, was withdrawn in the 11th minute of the weekend draw at Aston Villa.

Jol said: “Damien is a bit better but he won’t be available against Chelsea and I don’t think he will be available against Arsenal either.”

Meanwhile, winger Ashkan Dejagah has had successful surgery on an ankle ligament injury but will not play again this season.

And on-loan Ajax midfielder Eyong Enoh has shaken off an ankle knock.
