David Moyes rued Everton’s profiligacy in front of goal after Steve Sidwell’s late leveller at Craven Cottage saw his side have settle for a fourth successive draw despite dominating Fulham this afternoon.

The Toffees manager was almost disbelieving of the scoreline having seen his side control the contest, see much more of the ball than than their hosts and have just two goals to show for a total of 27 shots.

I can’t believe we have only got a draw out of that. It is quite incredible. But give Fulham credit they kept at it. Their goalie made a couple of saves and we were incredibly wasteful in front of goal. We made a big mistake for their second goal. We’ve dominated quite a lot of games this season and not won. But that one we should have.

Inside the first five minutes, we had three shots on target blocked and they took the lead direct from a free-kick. We found ourselves a goal down, and that was hard to take because then we were chasing the game.

The way we are playing, we are creating plenty of chances. I think we were playing that well in the second half of last season and earlier in this one. Perhaps the difference was that Nikica Jelavic was fully firing and at the end of all that good play he was the one that was getting us the goals. I think he is just a little bit off colour as far as his goals go at the moment. Its form, it comes and goes.

We went 2-1 up and Steven Naismith misses a couple of chances to put it out of site but we didn’t get it.
