The Mail goes with a story that surfaced on Sky Sports earlier this afternoon linking Fulham with a player-plus-cash offer for Wigan striker Hugo Rodallega.

Wigan have reportedly turned an offer of £4m from QPR, who this morning’s People had leading the race to sign Rodallega and Latics chairman Dave Whelan is holding out for an offer of £6m. The Mail claims that Martin Jol is preparing a £2m up front approach for the 26 year-old as well as offering Andy Johnson as a makeweight in the deal. Johnson, who is out of contract in the summer, has yet to agree a new deal with Fulham.
